Microsoft Defender Troubleshooting
Some users will not be able to install the Sensor if Microsoft Defender is running. If this is the case then please follow the following steps:
1. Open "Windows Security"
2. Click on "Virus & Threat detections"
3. Turn off "Real-time Protection"
