Once the Netarx Sensor or Plug-in is installed, you’ll receive a confirmation email from Netarx. You will need to click on the "Verify" button in the email. Within that email are links to a training video and articles if you want to learn more about their product and how it will keep us safe. Below is a general view of what to expect as well.
In the preview pane, the flags will appear prior to clicking on the email, as shown below.
In the below screenshot, item 5 shows how the flags will appear in the email view.
To open the Netarx App within Outlook, first click on an email. You may have the to select the applications under item 1 - All Apps, then select the Netarx flurp highlighted in item 2. Alternatively, you may have the Netarx application already in your ribbon as shown in item 4.
To mark an email as trusted, follow the steps to open the Netarx application. It will open a modal in the right-hand side of the email. Within the modal, you can mark an email as trusted as shown in item 3. This can be done on either yellow or red flagged emails. Please only mark something as trusted if in fact you have corresponded with the email previously. Netarx is using AI to develop and learn who we communicate with. As we all begin to use this system, the red and yellow flags will become more accurate and will add another layer of defense to our systems.
