Flurp Installation

Which version should you use?

The Netarx Flurp come in two versions for your laptop/desktop (if you are interested in the ioS & Android versions, click here).

1. Flurp: Full windows agent: Installation Instructions

2. Flurp - Plug-in only version: Installation Instructions

The Full windows agent is the safest, most complete version. It is approximately a 200MB install file (but note that much of that is .net libraries in case you don't already have those installed). The executable installs the following components:
  • Netarx Service: The listener to manage communication and low level system access such a Microsoft Location Services for GPS and device TPM.
  • Browser Plugin: Provides Flurp on screen in thin, web only versions of Outlook, Gmail, Teams and Meet.
  • Companion App: Tray icon spawns upon joining a Teams, Zoom and Meets

The Plug-in only version is a lightweight version allows for installation on MacOS, Linux, Windows running Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Brave browsers. This version only supports thin, web only versions of Outlook, Gmail, Teams and Meet (you need the full windows agent if you wish to use thick app versions of Outlook, Teams and Zoom).
